As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Hera Sweaters Limited recently extended a helping hand to 96 No. Pechain Govt. Primary School near its Narayanganj factory by distributing stationery items to its students. The initiative, carried out under the company's annual Corporate Social Activities programme, was aimed particularly at children from financially disadvantaged families, who make up a significant proportion of the school's student body.
What made this gesture especially meaningful was its timing. Despite persistent heavy rainfall in recent weeks, the students had continued to attend classes without fail. Employees of Hera Sweaters distributed notebooks, pens, pencils and other essential school supplies to all the children present at the school.
